MIT–Chile Research Workshop in
Artificial Intelligence, Data Visualization, and Causal Inference
In-Person at Universidad de Concepción
Collaborative initiative between Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Universidad de Concepción (UdeC) that brings together research-focused lectures and talks for the scientific community in Chile.
During this workshop, the public audience will have the opportunity to engage in research talks and discussion panels with researchers from MIT and UdeC.
Additionally, we'll offer a series of lectures focused on Human-Centered NLP, Causality, and Data Visualization.
There is no registration cost with any part of the workshop.

Participation Tracks
Talks track: Open to the public. Registration required, which will open in late November.
Designed for invited speakers to share with the community state-of-the-art research advances in Human-Centered NLP, Data Visualization, and Causal Inference.
2. Student Cohort.
Students will have the opportunity to interact with lecturers, speakers, and fellow attendees, to imagine and demonstrate their skills acquired in our multi-disciplinary sessions.
2.1 Hands-on Lectures track: Open to our student cohort. Application required.
2.3 Lightning Talks: Open to our student cohort. Application required. We invite researchers working in any of the workshop topics to apply to give a Lightning Talk about your work. You don't need to be part of the student cohort to be accepted as a lightning talk.
2.3 Poster Presentation: Open to our student cohort. Application required. We invite all our applicants doing research to submit a poster about their work. If accepted, you'll have the chance to present it to the rest of the attendees. You don't need to be part of the student cohort to be accepted as a poster presentation.
